(Answer) (Category) marla.ludost.net FAQ :
Why am I being scanned on ports 80,1080,3128, etc from 194.12.255.250?

In short - someone from your IP has connected to UniBG, and has been scanned by the automated tools.

There are two BOPM (Blitzed open proxy monitors) running on marla, for the servers irc.lirex.com, and irc.otel.net. They scan all the connecting users on those servers for open proxies, and act accordingly.

The BOPM was accepted in UniBG with this voting.

The person responsible for the BOPMs is rhodie - jpetrov(at)rhodie(dot)net .

There's also a BOPM scanner module in UniBG's SanServ, which is also hosted on marla.ludost.net.
